At FREYA ARTS we believe that healing our modern world begins with each person working to heal themselves.

Most importantly, you are your own best healer. We are here to help guide you to your inner wisdom.

Our founder began offering art healing and other self care practices after participating in healing modalities that include talk therapy, horse healing, art healing, aroma therapy, sound & nature bathing, yoga, movement and breathwork for over 4 years. After noticing how these methods worked to heal themselves they realized it was important to continue this work and also help others heal.

What is art healing and how might I benefit from natural medicines or ritual baths?

Again, you are your own best healer. You know what is right for you and where you want to grow. What we create is a safe space to help guide you to this inner knowledge and encourage you to continue to build trust in the relationship you have with yourself.

You might have heard about Art Therapy. This method of healing is typically used with folks who are currently in a crisis or who are working through a major inner blockage. Art Healing is designed for folks who may have been in a crisis in the past, but have done some work on their belief systems and are now looking for additional support. Many of our clients already have a talk therapist, or have recently stopped seeing them, and use our offerings to add to the tools they have worked to create. We also typically work with folks who feel blocked creatively or emotionally.

Through natural medicines and ritual baths you will learn about the healing qualities of the breath, essential oils, teas, setting intentions, and many more methods of self care. Creating a strong self care practice is key to continuing to heal. There will be times when you will not have access to the healers or support system you have cultivated for yourself. And that is okay!

These offerings will give you guidance and help you create space to nurture yourself so you can show up for yourself when you need to.
